- Read and send SMS from your web browser.
- Get notified on your desktop when an SMS arrives.
- Copy text to and from your phone's clipboard.
Bru (bridge in Norwegian) syncs your Android SMS to any browser, so you can text from the computer you're already working on instead of reaching for your phone. It does this by creating an end-to-end encrypted connection to a companion app running as a background service on your phone.
Features
- Encrypted. Your data is only readable by you.
- Fully local. No personal data is stored outside of your devices.
- Hole punching. Works from behind routers and firewalls. No port forwarding or fiddling with NAT.

Bru leverages Iroh to create a connection between your computer and phone.*
As long as the devices are online, Iroh finds a way to connect them. Your data is encrypted and not readable by anyone but you.
